Did you know that yesterday was an actual national holiday devoted to chocolate cake - i.e., an excuse to indulge in your favorite sweet (and ours!)? Our only issue with this wonderful holiday is that it's only for a day (we vote for at least a week, or maybe a monthly holiday?). Thankfully, there are countless chocolate cake options, so we'll never grow tired of chocolate cake (impossible!). While researching, i.e., indulging in, chocolate cake this week, we've seen incredible chocolate cakes that are almost too beautiful to eat. In addition to chocolate wedding cakes, there are dozens of decadent morsels to incorporate into your celebration, our five favorites are below.
Decadent Chocolate Cake

We are firm believers in "a picture is worth a thousand words"--which is a lovely coincidence since we've always been told that it's bad manners to talk with your mouth full. We will shamelessly coerce our groom into choosing this as his cake choice.
Chocolate Raspberry Cake

If you're interested in a healthy choice, we understand that Raspberries contain many strong antioxidants. The elegant chocolate scrollwork and delicate flower buds on this Chocolate Raspberry Cake merely hint at the divine flavors contained inside. This is one of our favorites for a subtly sophisticated presentation on a dessert table at a shower or engagement party.

Have a partner who loves chocolate but isn’t a cake person? There’s no need to worry! We love the idea of swapping out the typical Groom’s Cake for something chic and unexpected – especially a chocolate cheesecake. The mouth watering presentation alone will have every guest deserting their table in search of the dessert table.
Molten Lava Chocolate Cake
Did we mention that we came across quite a few chocolate cakes that were almost too beautiful to enjoy? This decadent dessert is destined to be a show stopper--the delicate dusting of confectioner's sugar combined with the graphic striped chocolate toppers is dangerously close to becoming habit-forming.
Chocolate Cake Pops

Cake pops have been around for awhile now and for very good reason! Whether it’s a moist cake pop truffle or the original style with charming sprinkles, its sweet taste will attract all of the chocolate lovers at your reception.

White can be symbolic of new beginnings, purity, and the start of a new life together in many cultures. It's also associated with traditional wedding ceremonies in Christianity. The tradition of wearing white wedding gowns has both historical and cultural roots. Queen Victoria is often credited with popularizing the white wedding dress in the 19th century when she married Prince Albert in a white gown. Select this lovely little link to read an in-depth article featured in Brides that highlights the history of Queen Victoria’s choice to wear a white wedding dress.

Wondering how to find your perfect fit in wedding gowns? Typically wedding dress sizes can be different from regular clothing sizes. Wedding dress sizing often follows its own set of sizing charts, and may differ from one bridal designer or brand to another. Wedding dress sizes often run smaller than regular clothing sizes, meaning that a bride may need to choose a wedding dress size that is larger than her usual size.
