While we were researching last week’s See Jane Save (the date!) post, we came across these stunning save-the-dates from Momental Designs, the combination of stunning sweets and gorgeous watercolor illustrations instantly caught our attention. We were so inspired by this stylish invitation suite and fresh macaron set that we decided to dedicate today’s post exclusively to this idea.
While these save-the-dates are nothing short of breathtaking, the way in which they came together was just as enticing. According to Momental Designs’ blog post, the renowned macaron patisserie Ladurée created each custom box, infusing true Parisian flair into every bite. The stationers added their own exquisite style to Ladurée’s signature framed design and created a watercolor timeline featuring the Eiffel Tower, French Macarons and a grand cake illustration (seven tiers!) to accompany the gift set. Each illustration demonstrated the couple’s love story from how they met to their engagement to their wedding day. How (stylishly!) sweet.
To insure this idea was perfectly fresh, these eye-catching pieces were sent to the couple’s guests within 48 hours of creation.
Bon appétit!
