We hated to see Bridal Fashion Week come to an end. So many elegant wedding dress ideas, so little time…
We have a few stand out favorites of our own and some ideas on how to customize them in both simple, casual ways as well as in more formal ways for your unique upcoming wedding.
I MUST HAVE FLOWERS ALWAYS AND ALWAYS...
We couldn’t agree more with Claude Monet and it comes as no surprise that the floral trend is one of Jane’s favorites. Whether Lazaro or Marchesa, the gorgeous 3D blooms were breathtaking as they gracefully cascaded along sweetheart bodices and midi and long skirts. While most were in a monochromatic context, we also love the idea of a bloom in a Blush Pink or Champagne hue.
TIED WITH A BOW
Remember that childhood favorite, bow-covered pink princess ball gown that Cinderella was planning to wear to the ball? She would be considered a trendsetter. From Carolina Herrera to Anne Barge, larger-than-life bows were everywhere. This utterly feminine trend can simply and stylishly be infused into your wedding day look. Accessories are ideal--add a bow-detailed sash or an heirloom pin and you’ll be fashion right and runway ready for your wedding parties. Likewise, our Catherine Floral Halter, featuring an elegant, petite bow and our Ross Open Back dress with a Blush Pink ribbon are picture perfect for your engagement party and for a spring or summer Bridal Shower Outfit.
COLOR US HAPPY
Jane embraces a signature color. Whether our trademark Silver Lining or our unique Melon hue that lines our RTW Collection, we love the idea of introducing a signature color into your wedding palette in chic and sophisticated ways. Several couture collections boldly introduced color during the fashion shows. Christian Siriano made everyone’s jaw drop with his designer ombré pink ball gown. Infuse a modern hint of color into your engagement party outfit with a pop of pink. This can be in the form of a wrap, a bold shoe choice or even an all-blush look à la our Delilah Blush Floral Strapless Dress...
Our design boards for next season are full of blush pink and champagne hues.

White can be symbolic of new beginnings, purity, and the start of a new life together in many cultures. It's also associated with traditional wedding ceremonies in Christianity. The tradition of wearing white wedding gowns has both historical and cultural roots. Queen Victoria is often credited with popularizing the white wedding dress in the 19th century when she married Prince Albert in a white gown. Select this lovely little link to read an in-depth article featured in Brides that highlights the history of Queen Victoria’s choice to wear a white wedding dress.

Wondering how to find your perfect fit in wedding gowns? Typically wedding dress sizes can be different from regular clothing sizes. Wedding dress sizing often follows its own set of sizing charts, and may differ from one bridal designer or brand to another. Wedding dress sizes often run smaller than regular clothing sizes, meaning that a bride may need to choose a wedding dress size that is larger than her usual size.
